After months of internal strife and questions surrounding its #FinancialSustainability, Hot Docs, #Canada's largest #documentary #FilmFestival, announced it will begin "temporary" layoffs and a three-month closure of its landmark cinema in #Toronto.

#HotDocs is expected to publicly announce the #layoffs and closure of its #TedRogersCinema on Wednesday afternoon, changes which it says are necessary "to address urgent #financial challenges."
