Miss Gayle<p>Our project this weekend was to build framing for top to bottom screens in the upstairs windows, b/c the windows only came with half screens.</p><p>Apparently, none of the "window experts" who put in replacement windows in this neighborhood had any idea how double hung windows are actually supposed to work. </p><p>These windows are so old we can't even figure out who made them. So, we're improvising.</p><p><a href="https://urbanists.social/tags/HomeImprovement" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>HomeImprovement</span></a> <a href="https://urbanists.social/tags/Weekend" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Weekend</span></a> <a href="https://urbanists.social/tags/Projects" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Projects</span></a> <a href="https://urbanists.social/tags/Air" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Air</span></a> <a href="https://urbanists.social/tags/Window" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Window</span></a> <a href="https://urbanists.social/tags/EnergyEfficiency" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>EnergyEfficiency</span></a> <a href="https://urbanists.social/tags/Sustainability" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Sustainability</span></a> <a href="https://urbanists.social/tags/Climate" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Climate</span></a></p>
