The article says they're "fully programmable in Python", so it FEELS like that should be a possibility, but I don't have the skill set that would be required to do that. Diane<p>I was confused when my <a href="https://timeloop.cafe/tags/homeassistant" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>homeassistant</span></a> dashboard said the hue lights were unavailable.</p><p>I was even more confused when I tried the hue android app, and the lights weren't available there either.</p><p>So then I crawled under the desk and found where the hue bridge had fallen so the metal desk leg was between the bridge and the lights.</p><p>Apparently radios don't work when there's big chunks of metal in the way.</p>

My pseudo-decaffeinated brain was trying to work out how I'd use the <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/HomeAssistant" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>HomeAssistant</span></a> app as a launcher replacement on my phone. It took me longer than I care to admit to figure out this will replace some 3rd party apps to use phones/tablets as Home Assistant screens. Now that I've figured out what they're talking about, great idea!
