Hitchin Hackspace<p>Our next <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/HitchinHackspace" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>HitchinHackspace</span></a> weekly open evening is on Monday 23rd June. </p><p>We will be open from 19:30 until 22:00 to give folks who may be interested in what we do, and what facilities we can provide, a chance to come and have a look round and meet some of our members.<br>All are welcome. While it is currently on hiatus due to illness I am restoring a Dalek that was given to <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/HitchinHackspace" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>HitchinHackspace</span></a> when we visited a local pub and found it in the beer garden. I joined Project Dalek Forum to learn more about building and restoring Daleks, started a build diary and through that was contacted by the original builder who started building it in 1988, finished it in '90 and gave it away in '92</p>
