.:\dGh/:.<p>After reading some theories about the HX 370 price situation, these are my conclusions about why they’re being sold at 2x the price of <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/HawkPoint" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>HawkPoint</span></a>:</p><p>- Larger die, less units per wafer<br>- TSMC N4P high cost and low allocation<br>- Top-tier SoC (efficiency wise)<br>- Focus on datacenter chip allocation<br>- First to market</p><p>These are perfect reasons to sell <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/StrixPoint" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>StrixPoint</span></a> higher, double, than the prior generation.</p><p>Who knows if <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/StrixHalo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>StrixHalo</span></a> or next wave pushes their price down or not. </p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/AMD" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>AMD</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Technology" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Technology</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Hardware" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Hardware</span></a></p>
