Being able to define your own runners on the user/org/repo level opens up a lot of possibilities for privacy, reproducible builds and <a href="https://social.wildeboer.net/tags/GreenIT" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#GreenIT</a>. It took me a while to understand how runners work and how I can make use of it, but I am now getting the gist of it and I really like it!

TL;DR you can use <a href="https://social.anoxinon.de/@Codeberg" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@Codeberg</a> to make your code easily accessible and available to all. But by running your own runners, you are not only in control of the build process, testing, heck, you can even trigger the runner on issues! But it also means you can decentralise the resources needed for building and CI/CD, thus allowing codeberg to continue to use minimal resources. Ah, the possibilities!
