Was messing around earlier in Affinity and Mosh-Pro. Haven't had a proper chance to experiment with the texture's I've put out recently.

In the mid-2000s I made a range of 3D emoji for an advertisement campaign.

The emoji caught the attention of a Canadian amusement center called Funhaven. They approached me, and an orange version of this zany emoji became their logo. They're still using it:

the reissue of Dazed and Confused and its poster up at my local cinema was a flashback in so many ways.
but the title in Template Gothic was biggest 90s flashback - Thank you Barry Deck

The year is 1995 and #Britpop is in overdrive (and I’m at colouring-in college studying #GraphicDesign). These two posters adorned my wall.

The #Supergrass ‘I Should Coco’ poster came via a friend, who charmed a member of staff at our local HMV and liberated a stack of Supergrass posters as they were taking down a window display — then kindly passed one my way.

The #Pulp ‘Disco 2000’ poster is limited edition. The single came with a postcard you could send off to get the poster (and if I recall correctly, some other promo goodies too).

They’ve been in a cardboard tube for the best part of 30 years — now freshly framed they’ve been liberated by 16 year old son for his bedroom wall.

Varvara Stepanova, Книга и революция (The Book and the Revolution), 1929 and 1930.

Often mentioned only alongside her husband, Alexander Rodchenko (whose photography was used here), Stepanova was an accomplished artist in her own right. She designed the covers and interiors of this journal of politics, culture, criticism, and bibliography.⁠

When a publisher mails you with a request for another book design. Because they liked the last (minimalist) design I did so much.
I accepted, of course, on the condition they could leave the assistant (they sent to help last time) out. That person slowed down the process, annoyed the living shit out of me and tried to take credit for work she didn't do. The publisher agreed.
