IshambardSo, when is a stealth game... Not really a stealth game?I feel Rogue Ops for <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/GameCube" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#GameCube</a> does a good job of being that game.Stealth games are one of my favourite genres, the joy of completing tasks traceless fills me with such a rush. So, Rogue Ops, a game published by Kemco. I was hoping for a bit of a knock-off Splinter Cell.Conserve ammo, hide bodies in lockers, QTEs to perform stealth kills, cool spy gadgets. All sounds somewhat promising.However, I felt the stealth at times was a theoretical option, have ideas of vision cones on the map, and you can't monitor how much sound you make whilst moving. Much of what i learnt in the tutorial went underused. Coupled with there being loads of situations which are just straight up gun fights.Ultimately, the game is a bit of a weird love child between Metal Gear Solid and Splinter Cell, and not necessarily in a good way.Don't play this on Assassin difficulty for sanity sake, as it is incredibly frustrating. <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#RetroGaming</a>
