What are the best #FoundFootage #films you've got other than:

Edit: I'm not looking for "best" as in Roger Ebert, I'm looking for descriptive of the genre.

1) Hell House, LLC and series
2) Grave Encounters and series
3) Blair Witch and series
4) Paranormal Activity and series
5) Host
6) The Collingswood story
7) The Andy Baker tape
8) VHS and Series
9) REC

I tried to get to 10 but with 4 series in there it got hard to think of more.

On a related note: We need a #Phasmophobia or #Demonologist movie.

Just watched FINAL PRAYER aka THE BORDERLANDS (2013) for the first time and holy hell. How did I never see this movie before?? Found footage, haunted churches, pagan rituals, folk horror, cosmic dread... This movie has it all.

Exactly the type of movie I love and that consistent, deliberate ramp up at the end leads to such a great WTF moment... Loved it. It's on Tubi. Go watch it.

Operation #lost camera.

My son found a camera when he was Magnet fishing on the Zaanse schans a year ago. Then I got sick and couldn´t do anything with this camera.

Its SD card contains photo's and video's of an Asian girl/woman who is doing a world tour.

She speaks Mandarin Chinese. And in the video she is on Marakech Airport. Thanks for the translations.

The next step is to find her.

This movie I’m watching, Death of a Vlogger, I’m really liking it so far. It’s an interesting twist on #FoundFootage in that it’s in documentary form with interviews. It’s a fairly insightful commentary on social media.

There’s a “social physiologist” on screen now with the best explanation for trauma bonding I’ve ever seen: When your phone buzzes, you get a little hit of dopamine when you see a like. So you come to crave your phone buzzing. Then imagine if over time, that experience becomes painful, negative. You still crave the dopamine hit, but it comes with pain.

I’m relating to that so hard, not just social media (Twitter especially), but also my experience with my abuser. Love bombing creates the attachment, which later becomes painful, but damn it’s a hell of a drug. #horror #AbuseCulture #TraumaBonding

Watched BLACK MOUNTAIN SIDE last night & will likely watch HORROR IN THE HIGH DESERT tonight.
MOUNTAIN was a good, creepy li'l film. Really liked the questions it posed/got me to ponder. Won't spoil it any more except to say, if you like cosmic horror, give it a go. (Both on Tubi)

@MevsMatze have you seen either of these? If you like cosmic horror you might want to put Black Mountain Side on your list of watches.
