Arappathor<p>Artur Ulmann</p><p>war trotz seines Wechsel zum katholischen Glauben durch NS-Gesetzgebung als »Jude« eingestuft. Er war Kriegsinvalide und arbeitete als Kellner. Am 20. Dezember 1944 wurde er auf Veranlassung der Gestapo Nürnberg-Fürth, Außenstelle <a href="https://satzfetzen.de/search?tag=Bamberg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Bamberg</span></a>, in das KZ <a href="https://satzfetzen.de/search?tag=Flossenb%C3%BCrg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Flossenbürg</span></a> verschleppt und kam dort am 25. Februar 1945 ums Leben. Seine verwitwete Ehefrau lebte nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg weiterhin in Bamberg.</p><p>Als ich gerade seinen <a href="https://satzfetzen.de/search?tag=Stolperstein" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Stolperstein</span></a> gereinigt hatte, kam ein Herr an und fragte, was es denn mit diesen Steinen auf sich hätte. Ich erklärte die Umstände und er nickte betroffen. So was würde aber ja heute zu Glück nicht mehr geschehen, sagte er. Auschwitz Memorial<p>21 November 1915 | Stanisław Ryniak was born in Sanok. He was the first Polish prisoner registered in <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/Auschwitz" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Auschwitz</span></a> on 14 June 1940 (no. 31). </p><p>In October 1944 he was transferred to <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/Leitmeritz" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Leitmeritz</span></a> (sub-camp of <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/Flossenb%C3%BCrg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Flossenbürg</span></a>). He survived the war.
