Extreme Christian right has been doing this for decades, and you can see that it works.
Democrats and left wingers have been neglecting to do the same, and you can see that it doesn't work. Culture wars on books and sex been made to deflect from issues like #HealthCare #AbortionRights etc.
This year should be different: pick the best governer or mayor, not the sweetest talker. Study their voting behaviour. Study, point blank.
