Your Mythic Life<p>Ritual fire to welcome the Spring Equinox, which arrived at 5:01 Eastern Time this morning. This afternoon, I ceremonially burned the Yule wreath I made on this past Winter Solstice, December 21, 2024, as well as the greens-festooned star that decorated my gate during the winter holy days. <br><a href="https://mas.to/tags/spring" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>spring</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/equinox" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>equinox</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/springequinox" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>springequinox</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/vernalequinox" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>vernalequinox</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/fire" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>fire</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/ritual" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ritual</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/Ostara" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Ostara</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/Eostre" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Eostre</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/Easter" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Easter</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/YuleWreath" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>YuleWreath</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/interfaith" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>interfaith</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/interfaithminister" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>interfaithminister</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/pagan" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>pagan</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/heathen" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>heathen</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/interfaithheathen" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>interfaithheathen</span></a></p>

MittenGirlPeach 🐅 ⚾️<p>Wonderful folklore site. All the info you’d ever want about hot cross buns and a London pub called the Widow’s Son. Steve<p>Eostre - "...scholars have linked the goddess's name to a variety of Germanic personal names, a series of location names (toponyms), and, discovered in 1958, over 150 inscriptions from the 2nd century CE referring to the&nbsp;matronae Austriahenae, goddesses with connected names venerated on the European continent...</p><p>Theories connecting Ēostre with records of Germanic&nbsp;Easter customs, including hares and&nbsp;eggs, have been proposed. Whether the goddess was an invention of Bede has been a debate among some scholars, particularly prior to the discovery of the&nbsp;matronae Austriahenae and further developments in&nbsp;Indo-European studies. Due to these latter developments, she is generally accepted as a genuine pagan goddess among modern scholars..."</p><p><a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Easter" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Easter</span></a> <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Ostara" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Ostara</span></a> <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Eostre" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Eostre</span></a></p><p><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C4%92ostre" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C4%92os</span><span class="invisible">tre</span></a></p>
