Dan Neuman 🇨🇦<p>Had an extremely disappointing conversation with an HVAC guy today, about replacing our condo unit's aging A/C with a heat pump. Space and power constrains make it challenging to install one right now. The extra power into our unit would be needed for the backup heating, otherwise we would still be dependent on methane, which we want to phase out.</p><p>So there isn't anything useful for us on the market right now, and we have to go with a straight replacement, relying on methane for heating for the next 15 years.
