Andreas Sternowski<p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/EcologicalValueAdded" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>EcologicalValueAdded</span></a>: <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Companies" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Companies</span></a> would be free to decide how high the environmental surcharge on their <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/products" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>products</span></a> should be. They would only be obliged to clearly indicate this on the packaging and also to state the amount and purpose in sufficiently large print.<br>This would give <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/buyers" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>buyers</span></a> an additional product characteristic that they could take into account when making their <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/purchase" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>purchase</span></a> decision. Our purchasing decisions can destroy <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/nature" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>nature</span></a> or halt its destruction. EVA would make this visible.</p>
