Fossery Tech :debian: :krita:<p>When I distrohop I'm often confused what should I do after the installation is complete and what order should I follow so I wrote a list of post installation steps. (I plan to distrohop to Debian so I'll need this list soon)</p><p>Do you have a similar post-install todo list? What's on your list?</p><p><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Distrohop" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Distrohop</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/PostInstall" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>PostInstall</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/DailyDriver" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DailyDriver</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/FosseryTech" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FosseryTech</span></a></p>
anne. :heart_cybre_lesbian_1:<p>I only had one hiccup with the Mint install, and it's a common Intel GPU panel refresh issue that takes a quick kernel disable. </p><p>Everything else is working so smoothly. I'm shocked how things are going (so far); I've had some rough experiences with Linux and laptops in the past, and the standard hardware of this machine has helped a ton (so far). :) :mint_linux_logo:</p><p><a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a> <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/LinuxMint" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LinuxMint</span></a> <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/DistroHop" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DistroHop</span></a> <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/ALTText" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ALTText</span></a></p>
anne. :heart_cybre_lesbian_1:<p>The laptop was delivered yesterday. Early. I was delighted.</p><p>I spent most of the evening yesterday hopping and jumping and formatting...and in the end, I landed back towards the familiar.</p><p>I'm still delighted. :) :mint_linux_logo:</p><p><a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a> <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/LinuxMint" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LinuxMint</span></a> <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/DistroHop" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DistroHop</span></a> <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/ALTText" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ALTText</span></a></p>
