Last week on my way to Augsburg, my train passed through my hometown #Dessau. This is part of its railway station. There was a legendary club/live music venue in one of these buildings, but it closed in 2017. It always makes me sad when I drive by the club's logo (which will happen again on Friday when we visit the fam for Easter). 🥲

@gemelliz @lowies #FordGovernment proceeds unfazed with its criminal #Dereliction. The #IChing advises how to proceed. “Darkening of the night. In adversity it furthers one to be persevering. One must not unresistingly let himself be swept along by unfavourable circumstances, nor permit his steadfastness to be shaken. He can avoid this by maintaining his inner light while remaining outwardly yielding and tractable. With this attitude, he can overcome even the greatest adversities.” Karma comes.

For #SubterraneanSaturday - an underground bunker in the old military fort at #Modlin, north of #Warsaw, #Poland.

I didn't have a good source of light with me, beyond an incredibly dim LED flashlight on my phone (this was September 2008) - so was slowly edging my way forward with the autofocus assist flash on my dSLR. After one or two corners - a doorway into utter, empty, cold darkness.

I ... decided to turn around.

@ObsidianUrbex
Blimey - gorgeous!

Re: those colours and structures - there was a major fire at a car dealership outside #Seattle some years ago. A colleague happened to mention the results - so I wandered along with my camera and a long lens. I think the burned-out wreckage was pushed together outside and left to rust, rather than left in-place - less destroyed environment, more abstract shapes and colours!
