Recall that the regime's goons weren't afraid to drag away US Senator #AlexPadilla, with impunity, just for asking awkward questions. If #Trump were ever #impeached, it would be the #Senate — the elected body to which Padilla belongs — that would sit as a court to try the #impeachment. Just how impartial do you think that court could ever be, knowing what happened to Padilla for far less than trying to remove the #dictator from office?

Our electoral institutions already look to me like a sick joke.
