It's very telling he wants to use this #FCC rule on #Comcast & no one before tried to use it on #FOX, OANN or NewsMax.

Can't have the people hearing about all the #citizens the #fascists want to deport to El Salvador, can we?

At the Dept of Housing & Urban Development [#HUD], for example, ofcls are working on a rule that would #ban mixed-status households[] — in which some family members have legal status & others don’t—from public #housing, acc/to multiple staffers…. Affiliates from #DOGE are also looking to kick out existing mixed-status households, vowing to ensure that undocumented immigrants do not benefit from public programs, even if they live w/ #citizens or other eligible family members.

#Trump is already contemplating the possibility of deporting #citizens. Aside from numerous public statements to that effect, Trump told #Bukele, in an exchange posted on Bukele’s X feed, “Homegrowns are next. The homegrowns. You gotta build about five more places.” Loud laughter filled the Oval Office.

While I'm thrilled that running water is now a reality for these #citizens of the #USA, clearly not the storied "land of the free and home of the brave", I hope my friends in other countries will take a look at this and get some understanding of the disparity between #classes, #races, #wealthy, #poor etc.

I feel like throwing an eraser at these sleeping #influencers like one of my professors did at #HowardU BITD. Hello? Have you been paying attention? The current #fascist #lawless regime is, whelp, #lawless. They are busy #deporting #legalimmigrants & threatening to #deport #citizens. They have illegally fired #civilservants. Why would they, on god's green earth, be constrained by #international #treaties and #IARU agreements or listen to suggestions from #hams?

#Bukele posted a video on Sun of what he says is 238 members of Tren de Aragua arriving in #ElSalvador. He said they would be transferred to CECOT, the Terrorism Confinement Center in the country, for 1 year.

#MarcoRubio, #Trump’s secy of #State, last month said Bukele had agreed to accept deportees from the US of ANY NATIONALITY [including US #citizens]. Bukele's social media posts on Sun refer to "a very low fee" that the #US paid to El Salvador for the #deportations.

Advocates for immigrants raised alarms Sat amid reports that the #Trump admin, after signing the proclamation w/o publicizing it, had arranged to spirit immigrants onto airplanes & out of the country, in particular to El Salvador, where Trump agreed last month to house immigrants & US #citizens who had been convicted of crimes.

The ACLU says the men do not have any ties to the criminal group.
