I'm also interested in CentOS Stream 10.

I have been critical of CentOS Stream and the way it is managed by Red Hat, but I would be going into it with different expectations.

I'd like to see how well Stream can work for both desktop and server workloads.

#CentOSStream 10 vs. #AlmaLinux 10 Beta vs. #RHEL 10 Beta Performance Benchmarks on AMD EPYC. #CentOSStream10 as upstream to #RedHat #EnterpriseLinux 10 is largely similar to what's found in the #RHEL10 beta but one of the key differences is being powered by #Linux 6.12 LTS rather than Linux 6.11. #CentOS Stream 10 tended to perform either on-par with AlmaLinux 10 and RHEL 10 or slightly ahead in some cases thanks to the slightly newer kernel and other software upgrades.

Mostly I fiddle with #Fedora and #CentOS, but this winter break was all about #OpenWRT. I'm heading back to work tomorrow with a much more secure home network! For the last few years I've had all my Linux systems and blackbox devices (roku, sonos, google stuff, etc) on the same network, using a comcast cable modem router- the upmost in lazy network administration. Likewise my main desktop was also serving as the file sever. Yuck.
