Markus Feilner<p>I just updated to <a href="https://social.linux-magazin.de/tags/opencloud" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>opencloud</span></a> 3.0.<br>On the way, I added <a href="https://social.linux-magazin.de/tags/radicale" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>radicale</span></a>, the <a href="https://social.linux-magazin.de/tags/caldav" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>caldav</span></a> <a href="https://social.linux-magazin.de/tags/carddav" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>carddav</span></a> <a href="https://social.linux-magazin.de/tags/calendar" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>calendar</span></a> server. Will report about its quality. Disclaimer: I Have been using Radicale for a while, standalone, but I want to benefit from the docker integration and the work of the opencloud guys... :-) (just remove the "#" in the .env file's "RADICALE=" line) <a href="https://social.linux-magazin.de/tags/opensource" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>opensource</span></a> <a href="https://social.linux-magazin.de/tags/linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>linux</span></a></p>

DaveB<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://polymaths.social/@rl_dane" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>rl_dane</span></a></span><br>You probably want <a href="https://mastodon.au/tags/Kontact" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Kontact</span></a>. You can set up the *DAVs in the <a href="https://mastodon.au/tags/KOrganiser" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>KOrganiser</span></a> &amp; <a href="https://mastodon.au/tags/KAddressBook" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>KAddressBook</span></a> components. Note I run <a href="https://mastodon.au/tags/Nextcloud" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Nextcloud</span></a>, and <a href="https://mastodon.au/tags/KOrganiser" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>KOrganiser</span></a> will add both the <a href="https://mastodon.au/tags/CalDAV" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>CalDAV</span></a> &amp; <a href="https://mastodon.au/tags/CardDAV" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>CardDAV</span></a> at the same time to both apps. Ojocle Olonam<p>I was always surprised why there is not a way to sync <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/calendars" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>calendars</span></a> and <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/contacts" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>contacts</span></a> in <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/android" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>android</span></a> without an app. <br>Although there are FOSS apps that work well, I'd expect that such a basic feature would be something the OS would do out of the box, specially considering the OS already provides an abstraction for "accounts". <br>For <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/degoogled" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>degoogled</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/androidROM" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>androidROM</span></a> it makes even more sense, since most likely users will sync contact and calendar from a "custom" <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/caldav" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>caldav</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/carddav" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>carddav</span></a> service.<br><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/grapheneos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>grapheneos</span></a></p>
