AND the bots are FASTER.<br><br>Now if you think about this for a little bit, because the number of attempts by bots can </span><i><span>probably</span></i><span> still be presumed to be small relative to the number of attempts by humans, this does </span><i><span>not</span></i><span> mean — YET — that if you </span><b><span>PASS</span></b><span> a CAPTCHA you are more likely to be a bot.<br><br>However, it </span><b><span>DOES</span></b><span> mean that if you </span><b><span>FAIL</span></b><span> a CAPTCHA, </span><b><span>it is more likely that you are a human than a bot.</span></b></p>

When a server wants to make sure you're a person, it sends a random number to your device, which signs that number along with its promise that it is acting on behalf of a human being, and sends it back. CAPTCHAs are all kinds of bad - bad for accessibility and privacy - and this is really great.</p><p>49/</p>
