Rainsoaked fireworks -- which I initially thought were thunder. I don't believe the city officially holds fireworks displays any longer. Think they do laser shows, instead. Used to go with my father to watch the Assiniboine Park/Forest show, which meant a little drive through the city to get there. Always seemed like a "big deal" going on a ride like that (as a kid).</p>
