Bhante Subharo ☸️<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@iznogoud" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>iznogoud</span></a></span> Here are some screenshots. Note the choices to Add a "Calendar" or "Subscription Calendar". Adding a (normal) Calendar *is for iCloud only*. There is no drop-down menu if you tap "Account - iCloud" in the second screenshot, allowing, say, a CalDAV calendar instead.</p><p>Especially note that 3rd screenshot (of the <a href="https://c.im/tags/iPadOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>iPadOS</span></a> Calendar app) showing that "Add Subscription Calendar" must be read-only. The word "CalDAV" is not anywhere to be seen (as though to try to erase the very word "CalDAV" from the common parlance), but a CalDAV URL can indeed be used. The implication here is that a remote <a href="https://c.im/tags/CalDAV" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CalDAV</span></a> <a href="https://c.im/tags/calendar" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>calendar</span></a> can't be accessed read-write.
