I put this dandelion light up for sale! It’s the last one available, as the others have already been reserved. I’m offering a 25% discount because it flickers a little when touched or moved, but it generally stays steady when left in place.
I could have destroyed it, but it’s still a beautiful light. So, I offer anything with small defects at a discount instead.

For #spring, my little snowdrop. It glows softly (there's a light in the flower), but its glow is best seen at night. See the second pic for a bit of the glow.

I haven’t shared much about this piece yet - maybe because it’s a little different from my usual embroidery work. But I like how delicate it turned out.

some sketchbook entries i kinda forgot i did them..

mixed media (watercolor + colored pencils) drawing of orange oak leaves. there some simplified in the background too. the leaves and twigs have a white outline mimicking frost.

traditional drawing of a view out a window. there are two main nicely curved tree trunks ending in stylized crown of leaves. the leaves are in different shades of green but also some ochre and dark red.
in front of the window stands a vase made of stone with some red/orange twigs in it.

mixed media drawing (watercolor & colored pencils) of a frosty landscape reaching over two sketchbook sites. a cold blue to light lilac gradient suffices as the sky while a some dead looking shrub twigs as the main focus. the twigs are covered in snow and frost.

another test piece. this time pure watercolor and fineliner. it works well too i'm just not that efficient with watercolor only.

if you look at it upside down the leaves transform into chanterelles.

background is a deep green with some golden circles (the scanner killed their shininess)

got me some cold pressed 105 x 150mm sized postcards and did two spring themed test images.

the acrylic markers (base) + colored pencils (shading, accents) as in the snowdrop one works best so i'm pretty much going with those forward.
the magnolia one was at first watercolor + colored pencils but i changed my mind and redid the background with acrylic markers.

there's also some ivy leaves in a darker green and some reddish brown ivy vines as a contrast. the background is a mix of different muted colored circles. a reddish muted brown as a base, the circles are in a cold muted blue, different greens, some nude colors and some few muted pinks. also some white blobs.

drawing of a twig with budding leaves and three not fully opened magnolia flowers. there's also one still in it's bud form.
the background is in a simple light blue color with white full colored and some pink border shaped rectangles.
there's also some white circles, i guess i got bored of rectangles at that moment.

Black Eyed Susans, New Snow

This morning. I don't know why these normally tender flowers haven’t succumbed to previous frost. They are low to the ground, at the edge of my leek bed. Technically they are “weeds," but they got stay there.
