damon
I really like to avoid bad faith actors, but this one I will engage. I have seen this account and other advocate for admins to run their instance as they see fit especially when it came to defederating Threads. The people that wanted to connect to Threads users were told they could easily migrate their accounts. Now, here comes this account against admins making decisions since its a situation they’re against. How is the Threads situation any different? Admins are the ones spending the time and money thus they get to make the decisions, those that don’t like it can migrate to another instance and or become admins of their own instance. Users can block the bridgy fed account and block domains. Truly sick of the alarmist inflammatory crap on this space. There’s plenty of spaces and opportunity to ask questions & get proper answers before making an attention-seeking post. Crap like this shows Mastodon and the Fediverse isn’t about quality, quality social content requires actual EQ. The amount of crap, nastiness, lies, etc I see posted in the space shows a significant lack of EQ. Let’s start living up to the “quality” and be a higher standard than what is on #BigSocial I would’ve liked to had a quiet personal conversation about this but seeing as you didn’t attempt to with those involved and got some sick glee out of putting targets on people backs, it was only fair I did this publicly.

RE: https://mastodon.online/@mastodonmigration/114713995078797282
