@BBCNews @politics-BBCNews and of course he will have the BBC support telling us about it before it happens while it happens and after it happens and multiple interviews during his visit to make sure that he gets the maximum exposure possible because Nigel Farage is a creation of the BBC, and Reform Ltd is it’s evil child. #bbcbias

I am often asked whether we in Scotland overreact to the idea of BBC bias and if we imagine it. This is an example of the kind of thing we see every single day. It is sometimes very subtle and sometimes involves lies and massively overstating certain stories and underplaying or ignoring other stories. Whichever approach they use, it is hard not to come to the conclusion that BBC Scotland News is orchestrating a very deliberate campaign.

Should we be surprised that BBC Scotland shows flagrant disregard for their own charter and the rules which govern them? Here in Scotland we are well used to their obvious bias, censorship and outright lies.
Should we expect any more? After all they are the BRITISH Broadcasting Corporation. Their focus is on the British state, the Monarchy and in keeping the status quo. It isn't just in Scotland though. They show their bias across the UK every single day. Is BBC News fit for purpose?

Compare and contrast the negative headline after Scotland’s win with the irrepressible positivity towards England.

And of course, the “six nation hopes” refer to the hopes for England, not the hopes for Wales, Ireland or Scotland.

(They even manage to write a longer article about the English match, which hasn’t been played than they do about the Scottish match, which has!)

"the BBC disgracefully chose censorship despite having:
the option of keeping the version with a line of context on this, ultimately standing by the truth at the heart of the film: that Israel is harming Palestinian children."

BBC gets dressed down by ex-journalist over pro-Israel bias

Canary · Former BBC journalist goes rogue, calling out the broadcaster's pro-Israel biasPatel said 'we have passed the point at which Israel’s war crimes and crimes against humanity are debatable' - yet the BBC continues to

Dismayed that the #bbc is still using the terms:

*Hostages* for the Israeli Captives

and

*Prisoners* for the Palestinian captives (many of whom are women and children, and many have been tortured.

And also, they don't report on the health of the Palestinians being released, but are very critical of the state of Israel hostages, who are generally in better shape.

More selective humanity and apartheid reporting from the "publicly owned" BBC

Listening to Today on Radio 4 this morning, I noticed that they repeatedly referred to the left-wing members of the French Assembly who just voted against Barnier as "hard left".

Is that in any way a fair characterisation of them, or is that just the way that the BBC does their bit towards shifting this thing to the right?

Jonathan Cook:
At each mention of Hamas, the BBC informs us that it is "designated a terrorist organisation by the UK government".
In the interests of balance, at what point will the BBC inform us at each mention of Netanyahu's name that he is "wanted on suspicion of committing crimes against humanity"?
#bbcbias

BBC news editors covered the US election this morning by leading with the name of Donald Trump AND explicitly mentioning one of his policy promises, then, for "balance" went on to merely to mention Karmala Harris by name stating simply that she was "campaigning elsewhere".

#BBC news/current affairs is riddled with Tufton Street US influence, ex-GB News imports, & fawning Gove/Johnson fans. They can't wait to open every bulletin with the words "Donald Trump" for the next 4 years. #bbcbias
