Pepijn Bruienne<p>The <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/Atmos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Atmos</span></a> mix of Wu-Tang Clan's Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) is appropriately chaotic! Vocals literally floating all over the spatial spectrum, but somehow in a controlled creative way. For other spatial remixes this would probably be considered stunt-mixing but for the Wu it really works 👐</p><p><a href="https://music.apple.com/us/album/enter-the-wu-tang-36-chambers-expanded-edition/269842381" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">music.apple.com/us/album/enter</span><span class="invisible">-the-wu-tang-36-chambers-expanded-edition/269842381</span></a></p>

Always been a fan of his and I guess it's no surprise that the <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/Atmos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Atmos</span></a> mix is 😙🤌 Perfect soundtrack to burn through a bunch of todo list items for my executive function-deprived brain 📋</p><p><a href="https://music.apple.com/us/album/aurum/1802013049" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">music.apple.com/us/album/aurum</span><span class="invisible">/1802013049</span></a></p>
Pepijn Bruienne<p>Weekend tinkering: build an absolutely non-THX-certified <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/Dolby" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Dolby</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/Atmos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Atmos</span></a> 7.1.4 setup with nothing but the Music app, Audio Midi Setup (AMS) and a bunch of disparate DACs, amps and speakers all handling some of the 12 channels. The relative magic here is that AMS will do the appropriate Atmos decoding which allows mapping of 5.1.2 or 7.1.4 channels to output devices of choice, grouped in an arbitrary aggregate virtual output device. Afterwards all that's left is a little latency correction with <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/AudioHijack" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AudioHijack</span></a> and we're off! <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/LFG" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LFG</span></a></p>
Pepijn Bruienne<p>Randomly ran into composer/artist Anna Meredith who has quite the wildly eclectic oeuvre. Lots of good stuff but "Nautilus" from 2012 and its later versions really grabbed my attention which I guess has to do with my penchant for weird polyrhythmic song structures, brass and bass wobs. Great <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/Atmos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Atmos</span></a> mixes on later versions as well. <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/BrassAndBassWobs" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BrassAndBassWobs</span></a></p><p><a href="https://youtu.be/36FNJiP8GWk?si=Rj618KRRC4iczW5U" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">youtu.be/36FNJiP8GWk?si=Rj618K</span><span class="invisible">RRC4iczW5U</span></a><br><a href="https://ffm.to/4aojdae" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">ffm.to/4aojdae</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p>
