DesertFOX<p>I am checking out a few Amiga disk images and I gotta admit: This one had me confused for a bit.</p><p>As shown in the attached screenshot of DirectoryOpus, I had found a savegame with a file date "older" than the game it originated from. At first, I thought this to be very unusual. Then I remembered: Back in the day, Amigas did not usually have a real-time clock with a battery backup, so every time you booted up the system, the clock would be reset to a fixed date and time!</p><p>I'm feeling kinda stupid right now.</p><p><a href="https://techhub.social/tags/Amiga" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Amiga</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/Commodore" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Commodore</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/RetroComputing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroComputing</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/RetroGames" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGames</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/DirectoryOpus" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DirectoryOpus</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/AmigaOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>AmigaOS</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/AmigaDOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>AmigaDOS</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/SimCity" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SimCity</span></a></p>
