Crocuses are among the first flowers to bloom in early spring, often pushing through snow and cold ground. These resilient #alpine plants signal the end of winter and are common in mountain #meadows across Romania. Their vivid #purple petals attract the season’s first pollinators.

‘Fagus Sunset’

The glorious detail of Tasmania’s native deciduous beech.

Shot in the off season, and treated with an artistic colour wash, these leaves will soon make way for the spring growth.

Fresh green buds forming, pushing the russet red leaves to carpet the sodden ground.

Limited edition

This work is currently in its last week on show at the @wildernessgallery cradle mountain and is also available on the website.

I’m heading up this week to pack the show down and as luck would have it… the timing lines up with the turning of these leaves for their autumn show! Can’t wait to snap some new pics and see what I find out in the wild 🖤

Dear @Mer__edith and the the amazing @signalapp team,

After the last update, the Signal "desktop app" is requiring us to launch the mobile app - however, many of us do not have the Android or any other "mobile" version of the Signal app any more.

We are a large (by our standards) group of #Linux phone users, and your "desktop" app is our "mobile" app : )

Our previous phones on which #SignalApp was initially activated was an Android or Apple device and we have since then completely migrated to #Linuxphones. Some of us may have registered Signal on #signalcli, Flare, #Molly, Signal Android in #WayDroid, etc.

The #mobileLinux community is growing - we have members spanning a good number of projects and devices, e.g.
- @purism #Librem5 and #LibertyPhone running #Debian-based #PureOS #GnuLinux, #Alpine-based #PostmarketOS or #Mobian,
- @PINE64 #Pinephone and PP Pro running #ManjaroARM, #SailfishOS, etc.
- @furilabs #FLX1 running #Droidian-based #FuriOS,
- a wide variety of Android phones (including OnePlus 6, Google Pixel 3, #Fairphone 4 & 5) running #Alpine-based @postmarketOS ,
- @volla , #Fxtec and #Brax3 devices running #UbuntuTouch by @ubports,
- devices running @mobian which is part of #Debian project, etc.

[Apologies to any project I may have failed to include - you are all appreciated]

It's funny how we will sometimes pass by a location a dozen times and not give it a second thought until the right light or conditions present.

While snowshoeing last week in the #Vancouver #Mountains I came to a spot freshly covered in snow, that I've never seen without its usual trail. I would never have thought to take a photo here had it not been for the fresh snowfall covering all indication that a path laid here.

I think it's about time I ditched Arch Linux for Gentoo. Arch has gotten easier and I've gotten bored with it. Once I've settled to Gentoo, I'd have Void Linux scratch my "Arch Linux" itch

I mean, I've already explored Linux distros with different inits. I don't think anything can stop me when I have Arch, Gentoo, and Artix wiki handy
