I have never to my knowledge heard an #EdSheeran song, other than the fragment he sings in the film Yesterday. I feel like I ought to fill this cultural gap.

Can anyone recommend what the "best" Ed Sheeran song is for someone who likes sophisticated singer-songwriter music? (e.g. I prefer #PaulSimon over @BobDylan and #JoniMichell over, well, pretty much anyone.)

Some #advice about #argument online that will make you look WAY smarter, and be a whole lot less annoying -

Instead of demanding someone's sources, find a source that proves your own point.

This does four things-

1. It educates you on the topic better, so you have fresh info to #debate them.

2. It makes you less ignorant in case you were wrong.

3. It makes it harder for them to defend something incorrect.

4. It doesn't annoy the shit out of someone who knew what they were talking about.

I'm trying to figure out how best to maintain all these native herbaceous perrenials here in the Great Lakes area and I'm running into conflicting goals.

On the one hand, it seems I'm supposed to burn (or approximate) to clear out the old dry growth and allow the sun to warm the soil early in the spring. On the other hand, the dried stems and whatnot are wintering habitat for all the little bug buddies.

Am I missing something?

Never buy something that says it's "tactical,".

That usually means it's useless unless it's actually a piece of military equipment. In that case it wouldn't have the "tactical," name because that's already assumed.

Tactical just means it's styled to look like it's something that the military would use, and is probably cheaply made and just looks cool.

Just buy a reputable brand of whatever tool or thing you're trying to get.

It won't be garbage in a disaster.
