ohanditdidntgo<p>I've pretty reliable read an <a href="https://mstdn.games/tags/ASOIAF" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ASOIAF</span></a> novel every other book for the last year.....</p><p>But now I'm onto the final in the main series....I'm not doing that anymore.</p><p>It's not that I'm not excited to go back to it, it's just...well, once it's over it's over isn't it.</p>

ohanditdidntgo<p>I love the concept of Mastodon but damn if it isn't hard to see how much more interaction I get over on Bluesky for things like <a href="https://mstdn.games/tags/FPL" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FPL</span></a>, <a href="https://mstdn.games/tags/Hockey" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Hockey</span></a> and <a href="https://mstdn.games/tags/ASOIAF" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ASOIAF</span></a>.</p><p>I'm trying to help that stuff grow on this platform but it's hard when there's so few of us to actually generate conversation and whatnot.</p><p>I'm fairly confident I'm the only Washington Capitals fan on Mastodon at this point. It's just me screaming into the void. </p><p>Meanwhile I look over at BS and a lot of my old Twitter friends are having a great time talking Caps hockey.</p><p>FPL is similar. There's loads of conversation going on and I'm again, just shouting into the void.</p><p>I love Mastodon, I'm happy to continue supporting it but fuck.</p>

Isä toi lapsena töistä kotiin tietokoneita (Doom, Duke, Prince of Persia, tiedät varmaan katalogin) ja papan Canon AE-1 Program oli tosi siisti vehje räplätä. Kuvaan paljon digillä ja puhelimella, vapaalla enemmän pelkästään filmille. Keräilen kameroita, joiden toivon toimivan. Laukusta löytyy sitten liuta testattuja ja huollettuja kameroita linsseineen. Liikaa? Ei koskaan. Lista on aika pitkä, ja sisältää pääasiassa melko rauhallisia ja syvällisiä asioita. Lapset pitävät huolen siitä, että päivittäinen liikunta-annos täyttyy ilolla ja riemulla.</p><p>Pidän ihmisistä, keskusteluista ja spontaaneista tapaamisista, mutta puolet minusta on introverttiä. Oma aika, oma rauha.</p><p>Täällä olen, koska kyllästyin vihdoin ja viimein isojen somejättien sekoiluun ja valtaan. Olen jo kauan kaivannut keskustelufoorumeista tuttua dialogia ja hyviä, toisia kunnioittavia kohtaamisia. Toivottavasti niitä tulee täältä. Steven 💚<p>There's a children's author.</p><p>Garth Nix.</p><p>He wrote the Sabriel series and the Seventh Tower series.</p><p>He has already written the ending to <a href="https://zeroes.ca/tags/ASOIAF" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ASOIAF</span></a> that about half of it's fans want to read.</p><p>Genuinely, I think he's kind of the best fit to finish the series if George doesn't.</p>

The Cersei chapter specifically is a total page turner that is so satisfying to read as someone who loves it when a character gets their just deserts. </p><p>Nom nom nom.</p>

It's a fine chapter, and I can see why the fandom has been tying itself into knots over it's ending for the last...19 years.</p><p>That said...I absolutely hate how it wraps up. When I started the re-read some 15 months ago I had some very slim hope that book 6 would be out during my run.</p><p>....yeah I don't think that's happening.
