Wem ist das auch schon passiert? #Selfcheckout an der #Kasse und man vergisst einen Artikel zu scannen. Ohne Absicht und ohne böse Hintergedanken. Mir ist das schon mehr als einmal passiert. Wie es scheint, kann man dafür sogar bestraft werden. Nun gut, dann meide ich eben Self Checkout und nehme in Zukunft nur noch bediente Kassen. Und wo es geht, vermeide ich #Migros, #Coop, #Aldi und #Lidl ganz. Lieber kaufe ich lokal ein, da weiss ich, woher meine Produkte stammen!

Jahrelang haben die #Discounter das Konzept "stress den #Kunden beim Verräumen an der Kasse, dann macht er schneller" verfolgt, und die Einräumbereiche absurd verkürzt.

Und was sehe ich jetzt wieder beim #Aldi? Einräumbereich mit A/B-Trenner im neuen Kassendesign. Wow. Die Erkenntnis hat jetzt nur 20 Jahre (oder so) gebraucht. In 10 Jahren bekommt es dann auch Lidl wieder.

German Railways #DB is a desaster. The website is a collection of timeout-scripts and error messages. When you wrestle enough, they take your money, but don't give you a ticket. When you try to access the Help or Contact page, you get "access denied".

While #Aldi failed to run a profitable online shop, they want you to come to their stores. #DB on the other hand also fails online, but has also closed most ticket counters they once had.

I should check for a oneway car rental.

Ich denke die Empörung der Öffentlichkeit hierüber müsste in Deutschland sehr viel größer sein. Ihr wisst, was auf uns zu kommt. Sehe es förmlich vor mir, was hier los ist, wenn die ersten Briefchen auch hier eintrudeln, die Unternehmen auffordern, ihre DEI-Maßnahmen zu canceln. Unwürdig.

I went shopping at Aldi for the first time after a failed attempt a few years ago (no quarter or bags).

It was more bare and open than I expected, with fewer selections than most grocery stores, and even many places that sell groceries on the side, like Target, but the prices were good, some of them fantastic ($2.99 for a pint of strawberries), and I was shocked at the apparent high quality of their fresh salmon.

Plus, it's across from my #FreshMarket

#Aldi is the only company in this country that makes me feel cared for lol.

I wounder when #ALDI stops branding their #Toast as "#AMERICAN" because it's definitely not #USian / #USA - Style, as it's way too healthy and doesn't have #HighFructoseCornSyrup or #YellowNumber5 in it!

• Seriously, that branding needs to bet wiped off before consumers start boycotting it Canadian Style...

Mind you #Germany has actual #bread #culture and that #AldiToast is considered "bare minimum slop" and not even proper bread by anyone with taste.
