I finally setup a watchdog timer on my #ADSB #RaspberryPi that locks up about once a week or so. Hopefully that'll work to keep it going a while longer before I can access the device physically and replace the SD card that I believe is slowly failing.

I also really need to containerize some of the software I'm running on that Pi... Might be time for a completely fresh install.

@ai6yr Huh, I've been running an #ADSB stack (dump1090-fa, piaware, feeder to adsbfi) for just over two years now, pretty much non-stop and my SD card is still doing fine without any special tricks to minimize writes.
I'm just using a SanDisk ultra 16GB which is ~30% full.

I had a cheap Staples brand card give up on me after just a few months when I ran a Zabbix monitoring server on it, but I think besides the bottom-of-the-barrel NAND-flash it was the round-robin files that killed it.
