Emma and Emily 🏳️‍⚧️<p>Even with the exercise my mental health is still a major battleground. The endorphines are a huge help as none of the many many medications I’ve tried have worked for me, they actually made me feel way worse. <br>I still have to plan and put things in place so that I can force myself out the door and even then it can all go to pot. So I’m having to respect my limitations whilst trying to push myself as hard as I am able. I was supposed to run yesterday but it took my two hours to force myself out of bed and I couldn’t force myself out that door no matter how hard I tried it was all too much. I though today would be the same as I couldn’t get myself out of my bed and face the world, it took an hour to get me out of the door and I almost turned around and went back home a few times. LeslieHapablap<p>Meine Renneinteilung beim Teninger <a href="https://freiburg.social/tags/Allmendlauf" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Allmendlauf</span></a>. Auf dem ersten Kilometer war es sehr eng, volle Konzentration um bei einem "Gehfehler" nach leichtem Kontakt nicht zu stürzen -&gt; etwas langsamer als geplant. Ein kleiner anwachsender Zeitrückstand bis zur Hälfte ist durchaus gewollt, da ich gerne mit leicht negativem Split laufe.</p><p>Ab km 5 eine moderate Tempoverschärfung, so dass der Rückstand bei km 7 aufgeholt ist. Weiter recht konstant bis km 9. Der letzte Kilometer war 20 Sekunden schneller als der Schnitt. The Fediverse Cat<p>Ran the usual 3.5km post work this afternoon. It was hotter than I expected but I did well anyway. 3.5k is nothing for me these days. Could easily do 5. </p><p>I think I might go back to the Garmin-suggested workouts. I am still finishing the Garmin Coach 10k - it's weird because I ran 13k on Sunday, but apparently that is part of the plan - you're supposed to do longer distances before you do your actual "race", which is weird to me but who am I to question Garmin. </p><p>My "race" which is not really a race, just a random date to end the plan is next weekend.</p><p>The question, for more experienced runners - is this really a thing? Do your run *more* before your main race? How do you feel about that?
